Easy Crochet Daisy

Skill-level = Easy

Materials:

• Spare skein or rolls of yarn remnants; ideally medium weight for beginners;

• Size I/9 or J/10 hook (for beginners; pattern can be adapted to smaller sizes)

• Snips

• Stitch counters (opt.)

Instructions:

1. ch. 4 then sl st together to create ring;

2. ch. 2 then dc 12 into the center ring space; sl st into the 2nd st of starting ch to finish the rnd;

3. Next, ch. 10-12 to create the 1st “petal” of the daisy; <sl st into the same dc, then ch. 10>
   Repeat across rnd to create the remaining petals for a total of 12;

   NOTE: ea. dc St will have ONE petal; to create more petals with this motif, simply up the number of dc of your 2nd rnd

4. To finish the rnd, sl st the last ch into the last dc, and simply clip and secure the yarn; tuck all loose ends into the stitching.

5. Remember to block your daisy/daisies before applying to larger projects!
