Sometimes you need a few extra shapes for your granny square projects- especially if you need to fill in a slightly awkward gap! And the best place to start, is with a triangle! Sometimes called a Granny Cluster stitch (because of connection to traditional granny squares), this type of block stitch lends itself really well to all kinds of shapes, but especially aligns nicely with your collection of granny squares.
