Even though I'd been altering and fixing clothes for several years, I was at a point where I decided to give up the ghost completely. Without going into the nitty-gritty of that mess story (it's a real doozie!), my apathy boiled down to one thing: I was just sick of the bullsh*t. But then family intervened, in the way only family can, and gave me what I thought was one last job for one last time. Also, I'm just a pushover with a soft-spot for kids.
