Crocheted Jeans:
This one was a bit of an experiment for me, as I made the mistake of buying a pair of jeans that were much to small for me (we’ve all done at the clearance sales). But expanding jeans can be especially tedious. So, when another creator shared their idea for combining crochet with altering techniques I knew I had to give it a try.
This one did require a bit of re-do on my part - in trying to copy the original reference photo, I forgot to include one very important step: blocking the squares prior to sewing them on. As a result, the jeans ended up pantsing me relentlessly. Because I had some leftover crochet thread on hand, I decided to go a different route and create a pair of lacy-style gussets instead.
